Weekly Income Benefits

Whether you are out of work for a broken foot, a difficult pregnancy or surgery for gall stones. There are many reasons why you may be out of work because of an illness or injury and need income replacement. That’s where the Weekly Income Benefit helps out.

If you become totally disabled and can’t work, the Plan provides a weekly payment to you for up to 26 weeks. Benefits are payable when the Plan receives written proof that you are totally disabled due to an injury, illness, or pregnancy and require the active care of a duly licensed physician.

Active members are enrolled in the Plan automatically; spouses and children are not eligible.
